Acupuncture Without Borders
Humanitarian aid in a different way
Created in 1992, "Acupuncture Without Borders" is an NGO that provides basic acupuncture training to health practitioners in developing countries, in order to give them more autonomy and efficiency.

The effectiveness of acupuncture has been clearly demonstrated in poor populations where access to care and medication is particularly difficult.
There are currently several accredited ASF Centres around the world, and their volunteer practitioners teach acupuncture in various disadvantaged regions.
Since 2004 "ASF-International" (ASF-I) has been federating the national ASF Centres, supervising their work, providing educational and medical materials and ensuring follow-up.
Effective and inexpensive complementary medicine, humanitarian acupuncture contributes to the development of greater autonomy for disadvantaged populations in terms of health care.
